Bespoke Travel Advisor
How I Travel, and How I Advise
I love adventure. I'll stay in a jungle lodge, a mountain homestay, or a tented camp without hesitation. But I also believe a holiday should feel like a holiday, which means however adventurous the itinerary, there's always something that feels genuinely special built into it.
A remarkable hotel, an extraordinary location, an experience you couldn't have planned yourself. That balance between adventure and comfort is what I look for when I travel, and it's what I build into every trip I plan.
My own shortlist, if you're wondering what I'd recommend:
A long weekend with family: Borneo, with the jungle immersion, wildlife, and a genuine sense of being somewhere extraordinary
A week with friends: The overnight train to Sapa, trekking through rice terraces and H'mong villages in northern Vietnam
A longer family trip: China : Beijing to Guilin via Xi'an and Lijiang, done properly with the right guides
Adventure travel: Bhutan : one of the most extraordinary places I've been, and still relatively few people go
Working With Me
For direct hotel bookings, there are no extra costs. I secure competitive rates and VIP treatment. I have direct contact with all of our hotel partners, so can resolve issues and secure perks for your holiday, at no expense to you. Hotel partners include Four Seasons, Aman, Mandarin Oriental and Dorchester Collection.
I work as an independent advisor through Alchemist Travel, which means I'm not tied to specific hotels or operators. My job is to find what's right for you, and not what is easiest to sell.
I really specialise in curating the full package, pulling together all of the different elements of your trip from airport transfers, early check in, bedroom configurations, curated tours, and those special moments. Think of me like a human AI bot, who can give real advice, has real life experience, and can book everything for you.
I work with families, couples, and groups, mostly based in Singapore, though clients come from further afield. Trips range from short regional getaways to complex multi-week itineraries across multiple countries. What they have in common is that they're built around you, not around a template.
If you have a destination in mind, I can help you do it properly. If you're not sure where to go, that's a conversation I enjoy even more.
A travel advisor, researcher, and someone who can talk about holiday inspiration all the time, I love my role as a travel agent.
Originally from the UK, I have been based in Singapore since 2018 with my husband, 3 children and dog. Moving here was the best thing that happened to my travel life due to the close proximity to so many amazing locations (and the fact that Changi airport is so efficient!)
Living in Southeast Asia means that I know many destinations in the way a local does, not the way a guidebook does. I have spent years travelling across the region, as well as nearly a year backpacking around East and Southern African countries, so I can share my knowledge and expertise when researching your trip.
I came to travel advisory as a career change, but not an unexpected one. Friends had been telling me to do it for years, as I was already the person people called when they were planning a more adventurous holiday, asking me where to go, what to miss, and what's actually worth the money. Turning that into a business felt less like a pivot and more like catching up with what I was already doing
